Moldovan fine artist opens personal exhibition

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- Fine artist Iraida Ciobanu has recently opened a personal painting exhibition at Igor Vieru Academic High School of Fine Arts.
Iraida Ciobanu said that the exhibition includes 11 paintings: static natures and compositions with traditional ornaments.
The head of the Fine Artists Union, Dumitru Bolboceanu, said that Iraida Ciobanu's artistic discourse has always been on the rise.
She is currently a teacher at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the State Pedagogical University I. Creangă and Alexandru Ioan Cuza high school.
The artist made her painting debut at a national exhibition in Tighina in 1989. In 2008 she was nominated at the Saloons of Moldova, Chisinau-Bacau, and in 2009 she became a full member of the Union of Fine Artists of Moldova.
She had personal exhibitions in Chisinau, Piatra-Neamt, Romania, Cimișlia and others.
She participated in group exhibitions at the Exhibition Center C. Brâncuși, Maria Bieșu Opera and Ballet Theater, Writers' Union of Moldova, National Philharmonic S. Lunchevici, Romanian Language House, Cultural Center of the Ukrainian Embassy, Câmpulung, Romania etc.
She has works in private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Moldova, Romania, Spain, Ukraine and other countries.
