Moldovan national football team starts preparations for World Cup in Qatar on 20 March

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan Football Federation announced that the national football team will be convened on 20 March at the Training Center for national teams in Vadul lui Voda.
The coach of the Moldovan team, Roberto Borodin, set up extended group of players who will be summoned for the first three matches of the 2022 World Cup.
The biggest share of the players summoned to the national team is played by footballers registered at the Petrocub Hâncești football club. The list includes six players - Ion Jardan, Sergiu Platica, Iaser Țurcan, Andrei Cojocari, Alexandru Bejan and Cristian Avram.
The national football team will start on 25 March in Chisinau against the team from the Faroe Islands. The match will be played without spectators on the Zimbru stadium in the capital at 21:45.
Also in March, the national team will play two more football matches - on 28 March with Denmark at 19:00 and on 31 March in Chisinau against the national team of Israel at 21:45.
