Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- The Regional Development Agency (ADR) Center has started the drinking water supply works for inhabitants of Ialoveni, within the project Drinking water in Ialoveni: improving the quality of life in the city through improved access to drinking water and water management awareness.
The project sees rehabilitation of a part of the water supply system in Ialoveni (1035 m) to ensure a total and reliable coverage of the locality, as well as collaboration with the citizens to raise awareness of water management and a responsible approach to the environment.
According to ADR Center, the works are estimated at over three million lei and will be carried out with the support of partners from Slovakia.
In Ialoveni the connection to the drinking water system is ensured for 93% of the population, but this is uncertain due to the lack of completion of the necessary infrastructure projects, for financial reasons. The project will make it possible to ensure a reliable connection to drinking water for all inhabitants and, at the same time, the connection to the centralized system of about seven hundred households.
