Moldovan writer's book launched at National Library

Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - A book of photos and poems titled, Olimp & Hades, which has recently appeared at a publishing house from Onesti, Romania, and signed by writer, doctor, lecturer at the Moldovan State University (USM), member of the Moldovan Writers’ Union Victoria Fonari, was launched at the National Library (BNRM) today.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Victoria Fonari said that the volume included poems accompanies by photos, which turn to account a map of her travels to France, Spain, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. At the same time, the Chisinau city is turned to good account as well – a city, where she does not forget to return with new impressions, in order to discover it different each time.
Victoria Fonari was born in Chisinau on 8 March 1975. In 1996, she graduated from the USM Faculty of Letters, the specialty: Romanian language and literature and the Latin language, the first series of students at this specialty in Moldova. On 2 October 2001, she maintained a thesis of PhD in philology. Fonari has worked at the Moldovan State University since 2001. In 2007, she became university lecturer. As researcher, Victoria Fonari signed over 110 scientific articles, of which four monographs.
The writer was awarded literary prizes of Moldova, Romania and Italy.
