New partnership agreements in regional development signed in northern Moldova

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/- The North Regional Development Agency (ADR) and Balti, Edinet and Soroca branches of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Republic of Moldova signed partnership agreements yesterday.
ADR Nord and Bălți, Edineț branches of CCI signed similar documents in 2013, and in 2015 a similar agreement was concluded with Soroca branch. The new agreements between the four parties were concluded to boost the previous collaboration on development of joint programs and activities, specific to regional development.
"We want the relations between our institutions to be less formal and more cooperative, to obtain new results, which will boost the entrepreneurial environment in our region. It is very good when the institutions complement each other and pursue common goals. Sometimes the desire and intention to collaborate matters more than the possibility of collaboration ", ADR Nord director Maria Prisacari said.
The collaboration so far between ADR Nord and the three regional branches has been marked by the organization of several business forums, round tables and expo-fairs. Also, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was among the partners of ADR Nord in organizing several editions of the Days of the North Development Region. At the same time, CCI facilitated the connections of ADR Nord with representatives of the regional entrepreneurial environment, as well as with international partners.
The activities proposed by the parties under the new partnership agreements involve activities to improve and streamline the parties' participation in the socio-economic development of the Northern Development Region, to promote and support the business environment in the region; joint organization of consultative-informative events and activities at regional level, in order to promote the economic potential, attract investments and support entrepreneurship in the north of the country; involvement in joint activities to support and promote the business environment in the region; promoting regional socio-economic potential.
The new partnership agreements have been concluded for a period of five years, with the possibility of extending it for another five years.
