Road sector connecting Tvardița, Ceadâr-Lunga put into operation

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/- A road sector with a length of about 12 km, part of the national route R36 Basarabeasca - Ceadâr-Lunga - R29, was put into operation today, after the members of a special commission for finishing the works signed the reception documents.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), the warranty period of the executed works is one year, the contractor assuming the removal from his own funds of any defects occurred during this period. "The enterprise contract, which provided for the rehabilitation of the road sector, was signed in March 2020, with a value of over 78 million lei, allocated from the state budget," says ASD.

The project included the repair of road pavement, the rehabilitation of two bridges, the construction of a concrete drainage channel, the installation of 84 road signs with the installation of 524 traffic control poles.

The repair of this road segment was carried out within the National Public Roads Repair Program approved by government decision and contributed to the improvement of traffic conditions and the strengthening of road safety in the region.
