National Philharmonic of Moldova to be exempted from payment of rights to import piano

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs today unanimously backed the exemption of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic from the payment of the rights to import a piano, purchased from donations.
Under the document, the value of the new piano, Petrof P284 MISTRA, manufactured in 2021, is of over 76,000 euros.
More instruments, including pianos, were destroyed by the fire which hit the building of the National Philharmonic in the autumn of 2020.
Public institutions, companies, private people made money donations for the Philharmonic’s restoration.
