As many as 861 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 2,264 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 861 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 205,324 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 32 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians - 9, medical assistants –14 and auxiliary staff -9.

As many as 4,350 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 330 are in extremely serious condition (64 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 10,964 persons are treated at home with easy and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,083 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,152 people have been treated. As many as 176,474 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 39 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 4,369 people have died of coronavirus in all.
