Regional market to be built in Rascani

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/- In Rascani district, the construction of the wholesale regional market is near completion. The project is financed from the sources of the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR).

Recently, the construction works were resumed, and the representatives of the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) checked the site, notifying the contractor about the need to remove some deficiencies.

“Within the project, the asphalting works of the access road to the agricultural market were carried out, the water supply, sewerage and electricity networks were installed, the installation works of the sandstone slabs were carried out on the base surface. Inside the building with refrigerators were installed water supply networks, sewerage, electricity, ventilation on the shelf for administrative spaces and locker rooms for future workers in the agricultural market ", ADR Nord said.

The project was launched in late 2017. It was divided into two stages: first funded by FNDR sources and second - Rascani district council means.

So far, 14.78 million lei had been used under the project. Another 2.85 million lei was allocated for the completion of the works, money that will be used by late 2021. The project is estimated at 16.86 million lei.
