Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary majority on 18 March will put forward a candidate for the office of prime minister. Deputy Parliament Speaker, member of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Vlad Batrincea has made statements to this effect at a news briefing.
According to Batrincea, the PSRM faction will appeal to the Constitutional Court, to learn whether there were infringements when President Maia Sandu put forward Igor Grosu for the position of prime minister.
He specified that ‘’a good, profession candidate, who will cope with the crisis’’ would be put forward on behalf of the parliamentary majority on 18 March. ‘’If Mrs. President is willing, we will discuss further,’’ Batrincea added.
