Fiscal, customs facilities on import of anti-COVID-19 vaccines to be established in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - Fiscal and customs facilities on the import of anti-COVID-19 vaccines will be established in Moldova. The parliament’s commission for economy, budget and finances today approved a report on a draft on amendment of the law on the implementation of the Title III of the Fiscal Code and the law on the customs tariff.
Under the draft, for the entire period of the emergency state of emergency state in the public health sector, decision-makers establish fiscal and customs facilities on the import and delivery of anti-COVID-19 vaccines to Moldova through their exemption from value added tax without credit, customs duty and tax for carrying out customs procedures.
The draft is to be discussed in the parliament’s plenum.
On 12 March, the parliament amended the law on the establishment of measures on the period of the emergency state in the public health sector and normative acts. The amendments made allow purchasing anti-coronavirus vaccines through a simplified and quick procedure, by derogation from the law on public procurements.
