War veterans residing abroad to get state benefits

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- State benefits for special merits to war veterans will be also granted to veterans residing abroad. A draft amendment to the Law on Veterans was adopted today in two readings by MPs.
The bill aims to support war veterans by maintaining state benefits for special merits, both for beneficiaries with permanent residence in Moldova and for those residing abroad.
