New parliamentary majority submits Vladimir Golovatiuc's candidacy for prime minister

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- The new parliamentary majority today put forward Vladimir Golovatiuc's candidacy for prime minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The head of the PSRM faction, Corneliu Furculiță, read a declaration on appointment, signed by 53 MPs.
In mid-December 2020, Vladimir Golovatiuc was appointed as Moldovan Ambassador to Russia. Since 2014, he has been a lawmaker of PSRM and has served as chairman of the parliamentary committee on economy, budget and finance.
