Wrestling Federation of Moldova concludes partnership with business environment

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s Wrestling Federation today signed a partnership on development with a representative of the country’s business environment.

Under the partnership, the economic agent will support the organization of national competitions and the awarding of sportspeople, due to occupy the first three positions in valuable international competitions.

Attending the event, the state secretary at the Education Ministry, Ivan Gheorghiu, welcomed the business environment’s contribution to the development of the national sport. ‘’The assistance provided will be a motivational factor for our sportspeople to get good results internationally,’’ Ivan Gheorghiu said.

At the same time, the secretary general of the Moldovan Wrestling Federation, Leonid Stotchi, believes that the support received will contribute to the keeping of sportspeople in Moldova.

”The partnership is beneficial, as more gifted sportspeople leave abroad for financial reasons. The partnership concluded today will make possible the keeping of Moldovans at home and the continuation of their performance for Moldova,’’ Stotchi said.
