Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today voted in two readings a draft law establishing fiscal and customs facilities for the import and delivery of anti-COVID-19 vaccines in Moldova.
Thus, on the entire period of emergency state and state of emergency in the public health sector, fiscal and customs facilities are established on the import and delivery of anti-COVID-19 vaccines in Moldova, purchased with state’s financial means through the exemption from the value added tax (VAT) without credit, customs duty and tax for carrying out of customs procedures.
The parliament has recently amended the law on the establishment of measures for the period of the emergency state in the public health sector and some normative acts. The amendments allow purchasing anti-coronavirus vaccines through a simplified and quick procedure, with derogation from the law on public procurements.
