Moldovan painter participates in contemporary fine art exhibition in Romania

Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - Fine artist, laureate of more prizes in the painting sector Gheorghe Lisita participates in a contemporary fine art exhibition, recently inaugurated in Iasi, Romania.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Gheorghe Lisita said that it was about a group exhibition of Romanian fine artists. Starting from 2020, the exhibition was staged in Germany, Bucharest, Hunedoara, Cluj, Alba Iulia and other cities of Romania. He also said the exhibition would soon reach the Botosani city.
On 1-8 March 2021, along with his wife Veronica Iftodii, Gheorghe Lisita had a painting exhibition, titled, The Spring starts with you, dedicated to women, at the headquarters of Moldova’s parliament. The exhibition comprised 27 paintings of the two artists.
”In late January 2020, I inaugurated a personal exhibition titled, The Diversity of the Moldovan Soul, in the building Council of Europe from Strasbourg, France. The event was organized in the context of the actions of marking the 25th anniversary of Moldova’s accession to the Council of Europe. The exhibition included 20 works. They were exhibited in the Palace of Europe. I am glad that, at that time, one of my works, which presents a dancing gypsy woman, was purchased by a Russian diplomat,’’ the painter said.
Gheorghe Lisita was born in the Suhuluceni village, central Telenesti district, on 28 July 1982. He finished the A. Plamadeala Fine Arts College and the Music, Theatre and Fine Arts Academy, Fine Arts Faculty. Lisita took his master’s degree at the Fine Arts Faculty of the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University. He staged personal and group exhibitions, both in Moldova and abroad, in more countries, such as: Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Romania. His works are kept in private collections from Moldova, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, France, Italy, USA, Malta, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
