Ceadâr-Lunga city hall sets project to provide thousand new jobs

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- Ceadâr-Lunga authorities are currently concerned with creating necessary conditions to set collaboration with an investor that will open up to a thousand new jobs in the locality. Mayor of the city Anatoli Topal made the statement.

It is about the construction of a tailoring factory, with an area of 5200 square meters. For carrying out the project, Ceadâr-Lunga city hall has already supported the first stage of a program competition, launched by the Regional Development Agency of Gagauz autonomy.

"Now we are waiting for the second stage of the competition. I very much hope to pass it well, as for the construction of this factory we will be able to access from the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR) 22.5 million lei. According to the plans, about a thousand workers will be able to be employed at this enterprise ", Anatoli Topal told gagauzinfo.md.

To carry out the project, the authorities in Ceadar-Lunga have already signed a bilateral agreement with a Turkish investor.

If the project is approved, FNDR will allocate 22.5 million lei, and 11 million lei will be distributed from Gagauzia budget. The building of the garment factory is expected to be built in three years.
