Exhibition of recovered, restored works by Moldovan painter to be opened in Bucharest

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/- An exhibition of works entitled #Recuperat #Restaurat dedicated to painter Valentina Rusu Ciobanu will be opened on 25 March in Bucharest.
The restoration works were carried out by Horațiu Cristian Costin in September 2020 - March 2021, the painter's work being recovered and restored by the Association for culture and arts Arbor.
The restoration was carried out according to the museum norms, and currently the works have been restored to their original aesthetic qualities, the paintings being brought close to their initial stage, that of 1963/1964.
In October - November 2020, on the occasion of the centenary of Valentina Rusu Ciobanu, she enjoyed the first two personal exhibitions in Bucharest, organized by the Association Arbor, within a large cultural project entitled Valentina Rusu Ciobanu - 100th anniversary, a project carried out in partnership with the Museum of Bucharest, SANTAVINERE Foundation in Chisinau and co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration, Bucharest city hall under Cultural Center Expo Arte, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
Within the project, which included the inventory and digitization of the artist's workshop, several works of art were recovered, including some considered lost.
The exhibition will be open until 28 March.
