Young performers from Moldova participated in international music competition in Japan

Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/- Fourteen young performers from the Republic of Moldova participated in International Music Competition, first edition which recently took place online in Tokyo, Japan, organized by Armando Gukasyan, president of the World Association of Performing Arts.
Eugenia Ursu, president of the Association Moldova and minorities, UNESCO Club, jury member said that the event took place on 15 February - 15 March. In total, 420 young people from 30 countries took part in the competition. The 14 young performers from the Republic of Moldova are from Chisinau, Cahul, Drochia and Balti. The jury also included Moldovan singers Irina Nisterovskaya and Steluta Mitriuc.
"Our young people impressed the jury with their interpretation, message and artistic outfit, they sang professionally, which is why I appreciate them very much. Now, with new strength, we are preparing for the May contest -Pearl of Dubai, which is organized by the Association Moldova and minorities, UNESCO Club", Eugenia Ursu said.
