Road traffic on national routes safe

Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/- Currently, road traffic on national routes is safe, restricted roads are not. This is after in the last 24 hours, low air temperatures were registered in the country, it snowed in the central area and partially the southern area, the State Road Administration (ASD) has reported.

Roads company carried out on national public roads operative interventions to combat slipping in the regions where their involvement was necessary. "In the technological process, 35 special machines were put into operation and 63 road workers were involved. The frost control works were carried out in Chisinau, Criuleni, Dubasari, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Orhei, Straseni, Basarabeasca, Cimișlia and Comrat districts ”, ASD said.

Road administrators continue to carry out patrol and anti-skid works, constantly monitoring all dangerous sectors.

For the next 24 hours, meteorologists announce cold weather, precipitation as snow and sleet. The air temperature during the day will oscillate between +1 +6 degrees, at night - 0 -5 degrees Celsius.
