Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall has asked for the support of the parliament’s commission for social protection, health and family to implement activities for a better management of the medical sector from the Moldovan capital, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At a meeting of the parliament’s commission, the representatives of the municipal subdivisions presented an approach with the main actions which should be considered by the MPs.
The first subject deals with the as quick as possible registration by the National Centre for Personal Data Protection of the Chisinau Covid-19 Register, elaborated on the JIRA platform. This system operates with personal data of the patients infected with coronavirus, who are treated at home.
The second subject proposed for consideration deals with the vaccination of teachers from the risk zones against Covid-19. Thus, decision-makers demand that the teachers from Chisinau are immunized in the second phase of the vaccination and 28,000 vaccine doses were allocated to this end. The argument is that the most serious situation is in the Moldovan capital as regards the number of infections with coronavirus and according to the international practice, the priority will be the vaccination of the people with high risk of falling sick from the regions where there is the highest infection incidence.
The third request to the competent parliamentary commission deals with the financing by the National Health Insurances Company of the Covid-19 cases, with the inclusion of all expenses for hospitalization and treatment. In this case, the representatives of the municipal subdivisions asked for the lawmakers’ support, in order to facilitate the discussions and make the legislative amendments to this effect.
