National football team drew with Faroe Islands team

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- In the preliminaries of the World Cup, the national team drew, 1-1, in a match played without spectators. Ion Nicolaescu scored in the 9th minute and Meinhard Olsen for the guests in the 83rd minute.
The match was refereed by a team from Wales, led in the center by Iwan Arwel Griffith, the fourth official being also Welsh. The score of the yellow cards is also equal, three to three.
In March, the national team will play two more games: on 28 March with Denmark from 19:00 and on 31 March against the Israeli team from 21:45.
