Vine, wine law to be amended

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- To enhance effectiveness of management of the financial means allocated in the fund of the National Vine and Wine Office, the regulatory framework related to the activity in the field will be reviewed. The MPs approved today in the second reading the draft amendment to the law on vine and wine.

The document provides for the elimination of ambiguities related to the formation and management of the budget of the National Vine and Wine Office and Vine and Wine Fund. Also, it is proposed to replace in the composition of the Coordination Council a representative of a Wine Association with the largest contributions calculated and paid into the Fund for the last 4 years of activity of the Coordination Council with a representative of the Union of Small Wine Producers.

Under the document, the quotas of the obligatory contributions in the Vine and Wine Fund will also be modified.
