Thirty two fake Covid-19 tests discovered at crossing of Moldova's state border

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - Border Police employees have identified 32 people who presented PCR Covid-19 tests with signs of falsification. Criminal prosecutions were initiated in all cases for the holding and use of forged official acts.
According to the Border Police, on 25 March afternoon at the Palanca border crossing point, border policemen found 16 passengers of a coach moving on the route Moldova-Russia, who had negative PCR COVID-19 tests with signs of falsification. At hearings, these persons were not sure and clear in statements on the procedure of their testing in laboratory.
At the same border crossing point, border policemen identified a Moldovan citizen entering Moldova who presented a fake result of the PCR Covid-19 test, in order to be exempted from self-isolation. Today, another four Moldovans with fake PCR Covid-19 tests were detected at the Tudora border crossing point.
At the same time, nine PCR Covid-19 tests, suspected of being forged, were raised at the Leuseni border checkpoint. Both Moldovan and Romanian citizens are under criminal prosecution. At the same time, a family from Romania (husband and wife) today tried to enter Moldova by presenting forged tests at the Sculeni border crossing point.
Those 32 negative fake PCR Covids-19 tests were raised and conveyed to the laboratory of technical and legal expertise. Criminal files were opened against the concerned people and the citizens who entered Moldova were placed in self-isolation for 14 days.
