More than half of health care workers vaccinated against COVID-19

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/- About 52 percent of the number of employees in the medical system in the Republic of Moldova have been vaccinated against COVID-19, the number of immunized people exceeding the figure of 38 thousand.

The management of the National Public Health Agency announced today that in the four weeks of vaccination, over 38 thousand people were immunized and 870 mild side effects were recorded.

About 40 percent of the country's administrative territories have already used all the doses allocated to them, and the rest have used stocks of over 80 percent.

Out of the 50,400 doses recently received from Romania, 14,400 have already been distributed, and 36 thousand doses will be kept in the ANSP warehouses.

All vaccinated persons are registered in the electronic vaccination register COVID-19.
