Moldovan electoral body set up constituencies to hold new local elections on 16 May

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission set up first-level constituencies for the new local elections on 16 May 2021 for mayor in Hârtop, Cimișlia district, Camenca, Glodeni district and Negurenii Vechi, Ungheni district.

The Hârtop constuency, Cimișlia district, was set up with number 11/10, the Camenca constituency, Glodeni district, with number 19/4, and the electoral constituency Negurenii Vechi, Ungheni district, with number 35/23. The borders of the electoral districts correspond to the borders of the administrative-territorial units, provided by Law No764/2001 on the administrative-territorial organization of the Republic of Moldova.

Local councilor mandates were assigned in 30 localities.
