As many as 5,616 dwellings purchased through First Home programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 5,616 dwellings have been bought through the First Home governmental programme so far. The overall sum of the loans provided by banks is of 2.84 billion lei and the total value of active guarantees is of 1.42 billion lei.
According to data by the Finance Ministry, 3,865 out of all beneficiaries are families and 1,751 are young unmarried people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. The average value of the dwellings bought is 606.25 thousand lei. As many as 5,135 dwellings purchased are flats and 481 – private houses.
Also, 1,011 people out of 5,462 beneficiaries enjoy compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 programme, 2,440 – within the First Home 3 programme, 811 – within the First Home 4 programme and 15 – within the First Home 5 programme, the Finance Ministry said.
Any Moldova’s citizen with ages between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed at a state institution or private company from Moldova and has incomes from official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme.
