Ten settlements of Moldova to receive money to liquidate consequences of bad weather

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Finance Ministry will allocate, from the government’s intervention fund, 5,871.8 thousand lei to local public administration authorities for the liquidation of the consequences of the emergency situations in ten settlements from Moldova. The acting cabinet today approved a decision to this effect.  

Under the decision, the local public administration authorities seen in the decision, as beneficiaries of the financial means earmarked, will compile, in the way established, the documents necessary for financing the concerned expenses.

The Finance Ministry will finance the spending as the confirmatory documents are presented. The present decision enters into force on the date of its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal.  

In 2020, a string of emergency situations occurred (heavy rains, torrential rains with strong wind and torrential rains with hail), which seriously hit the state of roads in the settlements: Cosernita, Floresti district; Milestii Mici, Tipala, Zambreni, Rusestii Noi, Cigarleni and Puhoi, Ialoveni district; Baccealia and Tocuz, Causeni district; Cenac village, Cimislia district. In this respect, to restore the roads hit, Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations ruled to allocate financial means worth 5,871,835 lei.
