Moldovan acting PM receives EU Ambassador

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today met EU Ambassador to Moldova. The officials reviewed a string of up-to-date subjects, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Special attention was paid to the analysis of the epidemiological situation, efforts made by the authorities to combat and limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The sides also discussed the impact the declaring of the emergency state would have on the most important social and economic sectors.
The acting PM referred to the steps undertaken to supply Moldova with anti-COVID-19 vaccine and the implementation of the national immunization plan. In the context, Aureliu Ciocoi thanked for the assistance provided by EU during time, especially in the last year of the pandemic.
The two officials tackled subjects on the recent developments on the bilateral agenda of the Moldova-EU dialogue in the sectors of economy, education, services’ digitalization, combating corruption and justice reform.
