Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/ - A paining exhibition titled, Echoes, by fine artist Vasile Rata, born in Moldova and settled in Bucharest, was inaugurated in the Romanian capital on 2 April.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Arbor association, cultural manager Victoria Nagy Vajda said that Vasile Rata was an incomprehensible artist, like a contemporary continuator of the European Dadaists and the Russian vaguardists.
The Echoes exhibition brings to public a phantasmagoric work – an Underground Ship, resembling a submarine, which navigates under the Earth crust. A ship belonging to the fantastic area, but the idea of which was not ignored by engineers from the beginning of the 20th century, who were looking for means to conquer the Earth and Cosmos.
The exhibition will be open till 9 May.
