Over 600 teachers in Chisinau vaccinated at Municipal Vaccination Center

Chisinau, 5 April /MOLDPRES/- A number of 622 teaching staff working in schools and kindergartens in the capital was vaccinated last week at the Municipal Vaccination Center opened on 1 April.

According to the municipality, the lists of people to be immunized was set by the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports of Chisinau. Currently, the Center decided to give priority immunization to teaching staff in schools and kindergartens, aged over 60, as well as those up to this age, suffering from high-risk comorbidities.

The vaccination center has an immunization capacity of up to 1200 people per day. The institution operates with a daily schedule between 08:00 - 18:00 (on holidays between 08:00 - 15:00).

The city hall announces that if necessary, depending on the availability of vaccines, another 20 immunization points will be able to be activated in the primary health care institutions in Chisinau.
