Moldova's National Cinematography Centre launches projects contest

Chisinau, 5 April /MOLDPRES/ - The National Cinematography Centre (CNC) invites and encourages cinema men, associations from the sector to apply with viable projects at a current session of financing other kinds of activity.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the CNC director, Valentina Iusuphodjaev, said that the Centre’s priorities for the present session of financing other kinds of activity were for workshops/courses of screenwriting, writing rooms, adaptations of literary works, storytelling; projects due to stimulate the enhancement of the local audience, cinematographic culture and thinking, to generate eventual international cooperation, platforms of networking and distribution of film productions.
According to the quoted source, emphasis will be put on the project’s sustainability, fame of experts/trainers/guests, practice aspect of the courses/workshops, results expected, international cooperation, integration of platforms/modern technologies, strategy of promotion. Other criteria are: audience, impact, visibility, partnership at the local and international levels, including the cross-sectoral one.
CNC’ budget for 2021 for such projects amount to 1,100,000 lei.
