Cahul city hall to award two scholarships of excellence for best pupil, student

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/- Cahul city hall announced today the launch of this year's edition of the Best pupil and best student contest. Winners will get two scholarships of excellence worth 12 thousand lei each.

Application can be submitted on 7 April -25 May.

According to the Regulations, the competition will take place in two stages: the first provides for the evaluation of files; the second - the people selected after the first stage, depending on the accumulated score will be invited to the interview.

For the Best pupil - pupils of the 12th grade of educational institutions in Cahul, who have reached the age of 18 and have an annual average of marks for the last three years not less than 9.

For the Best student - students of years III and IV of higher education institutions in Cahul can apply, with an annual average of marks for the last three years of not less than 9.

The basic criteria for awarding scholarships for excellence are academic achievement (including foreign languages); winning places at the Olympics; extracurricular activity, involvement in community life (volunteering, projects, etc.); participation in conferences and scientific activities, journalistic activity.

The contest reached fifth edition this year.
