Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations instructs measures of backing residents in emergency situation

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) of Moldova, at a today’s meeting, instructed more measures of supporting the residents and the business environment on the period of the emergency state, declared in the country as of 1 April till 30 May. Acting Prime Minister, CSE chairman Aureliu Ciocoi made statements to this effect at a news briefing today.   

According to the official, the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), along with the National Health Insurances Company (CNAM), will extend the list of compensated medicines for the COVID-19 patients with light and medium-seriousness forms, who are treated in ambulatory conditions.  

„The medicines indicated according to the concerned protocols will be fully compensated, for all categories of people, insured and non-insured. Also, MSMPS will work out a mechanism of delivery of medication at home. I demanded that this process does not last much time, so that these facilities start functioning as soon as possible,’’ the acting PM said.

Also, Ciocoi informed about some facilities for the business. Thus, the business environment will benefit from the extension, for the period 1 January – 31 May, of the programme of subsidizing the interests, as well as of reimbursement of the Value Added Tax (VAT). Also, on the concerned period, more fiscal simplifications and facilities will be applied, especially for the employers due to invest in buying of vaccines.    

In another context, the acting PM informed that the CSE Instruction from 8 April lifted the ban on walks in public areas, such as parks, fields, green areas, beaches, etc. Or, they will be allowed, provided that that the groups do not exceed three persons, except for the members of a family and the sanitary and epidemiological measures are observed.   

„Trainings for participation in international regional tournaments, open-air competitions, without audience, will be allowed too, all with the observance of the measures of combating COVID-19. At the same time, the fulfillment of the professional practices and probations will be allowed for the graduates of the vocational and higher education institutions,’’ Aureliu Ciocoi said.   

The instructions by Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations are compulsory and executory for the heads of the central and local public administration authorities, economic agents, public institutions, as well as for the citizens and other people who stay in Moldova. All instructions issued by CSE enter into force at the moment of their issuance.
