Russia to donate 182,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine to Moldova

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) today informed, through diplomatic channels (Russia’s Embassy in Moldova and the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE)) about Russia’s willingness to deliver to Moldova, as humanitarian assistance, 182,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine, of which 62,000 doses will be distributed to the districts from the left bank of Dniester.
According to the quoted source, presently, the authorities, with the MAEIE’s support, prepare the set of documents necessary for the import of the consignment of vaccines, as humanitarian assistance, to Moldova.
At the same time, Russia’s authorities are to come up with additional information on the date of the vaccines’ delivery.
