Moldova's State Fiscal Service informs about more amendments to legislation due to enter in force as of 1 May 2021

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) has informed that, as of 1 May 2021, more amendments to the fiscal legislation on entrepreneurship and enterprises were to enter into force.
According to SFS, starting from 1 May, amendments to the law on entrepreneurship and enterprises enter into force; they stipulate that the enterprise has right to collect from citizens payments in cash worth no more than 100,000 lei for each transaction for the commercialized assets or services.
Also, amendments to the Contravention Code will enter into force; namely the latter’s completion with a new contravention, under which the collection of payments in cash from citizens worth no more than 100,000 lei per one transaction or the fractioning of payments, in order to elude the limit set by the law, is punished with fine worth from 90 to 120 conventional units, imposed to a decision-maker, fine worth from 240 to 300 conventional units, imposed to a legal entity.
At the same time, as a result of the amendments made to the law on the enforcement of the title IV from the Fiscal Code, the alcoholic products and the tobacco ones, introduced in Moldova and meant to be consumed in the Transnistrian region, are liable to compulsory labeling with the consumption stamp starting from 1 May.
„Following the abrogation, as of 1 May, of the exemption of the transferring to the budget of the Value Added Tax (VAT) sum for the goods produced and serviced provided by the organizations and enterprises of the societies of blind people, society of deaf people and societies of invalids, envisaged in the law for the enforcement of the Title III of the Fiscal Code, the aforementioned enterprises with status of VAT payer will be obliged to pay the VAT for the goods produced and services provided to the budget,’’ SFS said.
The Fiscal Service also informed that the draft regulation on the mechanism of subsidizing jobs, scheduled to be enforced as of 1 May 2021, was at the final stage of elaboration.
