Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with Ambasador of United Kingdom

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari today met Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Moldova Steven Fisher, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The sides exchanged opinions on the evolution of the Moldovan-British relations on aspects of common interest, progress made in the process of negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement, regional pandemic situation and the measures taken nationally to protect the residents’ health.
In the context of the discussions held, the deputy PM reiterated the foremost directions of activity on the Transnistrian branch (human rights, free movement, anti-COVID-19 immunization), dynamic marked in the fulfillment of the commitments in the road transport sector and the efforts made to maintain the formats of the present talks active and productive.
Also, Olga Cebotari thanked the British authorities for backing Moldova in the continuation of the democratic, economic and social transformations, as well as in the implementation of diverse projects for the promotion of the measures to strengthen the confidence between the residents from both banks of Dniester.
For his part, the British ambassador expressed full openness for continuing the cooperation and extending the needed support in various sectors of mutual interest.
