Ambassadors of Czech Republic, Italy present copies of accreditation letters at Moldovan foreign affairs ministry

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/ - The state secretary at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), Dumitru Socolan, received in audience the ambassadors agree of the Czech Republic and Italy, for the presentation of the copies of he accreditation letters, the MAEIE press service has reported.    

During the dialogue, the sides exchanged opinions on the bilateral cooperation, developments in the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union, Moldova’s reforms’ agenda. Dumitru Socolan expressed the Moldovan side’s appreciation for the constant openness for Moldova’s European aspirations and unconditional support provided to implement the reforms.    

At the meeting with ambassador agree of the Czech Republic, Stanislav Kazecky, the Moldovan official voiced appreciation for the level and quality of the bilateral political dialogue. Socolan also highlighted the common wish of preserving the intense pace of the Moldovan-Czech cooperation through identifying new cooperation projects, in the bilateral and multilateral framework. Dumitru Socolan thanked the Czech partners for the constant support for Moldova and expressed gratitude for the substantial technical and humanitarian assistance, including for the delivery, in last February, of an important consignment of protection equipment meant for the national medical institutions.     

The dialogue with the ambassador agree of Italy, Lorenzo Tomassoni, was focused on the evolution of the political relations within the present consolidated partnership between both countries, further development of the bilateral cooperation in the economic, cultural and social sectors. The officials pointed out the agenda of the priority actions for deepening them. The interlocutors appreciated the dynamism of the investments made by Italian companies in the Moldovan economy.  

The important role of the Moldovans’ community from Italy in the social, economic and cultural life of this country, as well as the ensuring of the bilateral legal framework, meant to create proper conditions for the life and work of Moldovan fellow countrymen represented a distinct subject of the meeting.   

The state secretary, Dumitru Socolan, congratulated the new ambassadors and assured them of the every support of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry.
