Chiriet-Lunga fire station to be renovated

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- In Chiriet-Lunga, Gagauzia, repair works of the fire station, which was in poor condition started, the regional press has reported.

According to authorities, the building has not been repaired for many years and needs to be safe for employees.

"We plan to renovate the roof, which is shaky. We will also repair the operative section where the firemen are deployed and we will arrange the territory adjacent to the headquarters ", the mayor of the village, Valentina Caici, told gagauzinfo.md.

The mayor said the necessary building materials had been purchased. Work began last week and is expected to be completed in two months.
