National essay contest dedicated to Moldovan linguist launched

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/- Mihail Kogălniceanu National Museum of Literature has launched the third edition of the National Essay Competition. The project is part of a series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of linguist Eugeniu Coșeriu and is entitled -Eugeniu Coșeriu, a linguist for the 21st century.

The event is organized in partnership with the Faculty of Letters of the State University Alecu Russo from Balti, the Faculty of Letters of the State University of Moldova, the Institute of Romanian Philology Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu and other institutions.

According to museum director Maria Șleahtițchi, the contest is addressed to students and young researchers and will take place on 12 April -30 July 2021.
