Sanitation campaign held in Cahul

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/- EcoCahul - Citizen involved for a clean city! is the title of a sanitation campaign, held in Cahul with the support of a public association in March-April. More than nine hundred rubbish bins will be distributed and installed in the locality, the local press has reported.

Perspectiva association head Nicolae Mocanu said the bins are distributed to households that did not have a contract signed with Cahul household. At the same time, a campaign was organized to inform citizens about the signing of contracts and the need to collect waste and keep the trash purchased from the project.

Besides 920 bins, 50 rubbish bins are expected to be installed on main streets and in neighborhoods, especially in public transport stations. Also, five platforms for waste collection will be built and arranged.

Perspectiva public association is the beneficiary of the Local Grants Program of the European Union and implements the project EcoCahul - Citizen involved for a clean city!.
