Mine found in basement of building in Glodeni

Chisinau, 15 April /MOLDPRES/- A mine was discovered yesterday in the basement of a residential building in Glodeni. The ammunition was found by employees of utilities while performing repairs.

According to police, the law enforcers evacuated reidents, removed the object, and requested the support of the Bomteh service of IGP. Subsequently, the object similar to an anti-tank mine TM-62, which would contain from 8 to 12 kg of trotil, was transported to the suburbs of Glodeni, where it was destroyed.

In this context, the police warn the population not to touch the ammunition found, not to put it in the fire, not to disassemble it and not to let the children play with such objects.
