As many as 241 new cases of COVID recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 April /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2,171 tests were processed in Moldova and 241 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed. So far, 249,139 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, one case is among medical workers (nurse).

In total, 2,261 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized, of which 222 are in extremely serious condition (41 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).

At the same time, there are 3,478 people in home treatment with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 15,676 are under home supervision.

Another 631 people were treated. In total, 237,405 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 21 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 5,730.
