Another 60 Covid-19 tests forged found at border

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/- Another 60 people, who had forged Covid-19 PCR tests were found last week. Border police initiated criminal investigation.
According to the General Inspectorate of Border Police, the large number of document forgeries is still maintained at the state border crossing, which allows people to be exempted from self-isolation on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, and ensures their entry into other states, where it is mandatory to present them. Last week, illegalities in this regard were registered at the border crossings of Chisinau International Airport, Sculeni, Criva, Costesti, Otaci, Tudora and Palanca.
If tests are forged, the persons risk a fine of up to 32,500 lei or imprisonment for up to 2 years.
According to the rules established during the state of emergency, in order to be exempted from the measure of self-isolation of the person, it is mandatory to present the negative result of the PCR COVID-19 test, performed at most 72 hours before boarding or entry Moldova (for those traveling with their own means). Confirmation must be submitted in one of the Romanian, English, French or Russian languages.
