Moldovan Constitutional Court confirms ruling issued by magistrate Liuba Sova

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/ - The plenum of the Constitutional Court (CCM) today confirmed the Ruling No 60 from 23 April 2021, issued by CCM magistrate Liuba Sova, as deputy president of the Court.
The ruling issued by Sova on 23 April suspected the action of the Parliament Decisions from 23 April 2021 on the recalling of a constitutional judge and appointment of another judge.
On 23 April, the MPs of the parliament’s majority, made up of the Party of Socialists, Shor Party and For Moldova, cancelled the decision on the appointment of Domnica Manole as judge of the Constitutional Court. Subsequently, the MPs voted for the candidacy of Boris Lupascu as CCM judge. Lupascu took the oath in the lack of the head of state.
