Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/- First regional exhibition for women entrepreneurship in Europe and Central Asia, organized by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality (UN Women) will take place online on 27-29 April with the participation of hundreds of businesswomen from 12 countries, including the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition aims to support and empower them during and after the pandemic.
"The exhibition is a response to devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, in a region where a quarter of self-employed women have lost their jobs. The event will bring together entrepreneurs with national and international companies, investors and mentors to help them bring their ideas and business to another level of development. The exhibition is generously funded by the Japanese government," a UN Women press release said.
Within the exhibition, six creative platforms with various themes will be organized, from branding and marketing to fundraising and e-commerce, as well as attracting investors. Entrepreneurs will present their business ideas, learn how to improve business plans through innovations and will meet business people and investors from around the world.
The three days of the exhibition will include a short session on the power of professional networking and exchange of experience. Entrepreneurs and business partners will also have the chance to present their products and ideas on the exhibition stands, available online during the event.
