Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/ - A decision by the working group of the Chisinau city hall reads that, out of those six participants in the second tender on purchasing buses, the participant MAZ proposed the most advantageous bid in terms of quality-price and was nominated winner. The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, made statements to this effect today.
According to Ceban, the winner provided a price of 116,000 euros and 72 months of guarantee.
„I specify that two bidders, Xiamen King Long and BMC Otomotiv, were disqualified for reason of failure to present the clarifications demanded. At the same time, the bid of the Temsa operator was turned down, as it does not meet the requirements contained in the awarding documentation,’’ Ceban noted.
Under the compulsory requirements, the city hall instructed that, on the period of guarantee, the winner should ensure the servicing of buses from its own sources, exchange of components: lubricants, filtres, belts; as well as the servicing of the conditioned air systems and consumables.
The Chisinau city hall on 25 February 2021 repeatedly initiated an open tender for the procurement of 100 new units for the Urban Park of Buses. The sum envisaged for the consignment of units is 270 million lei.
