Moldovan president talks to entrepreneurs in country

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu talked to about 70 entrepreneurs from all over the country on 27 April at online meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the presidential press service has reported.

Attending the event were representatives of several sectors - agriculture, textiles, energy, light industry, IT. "We discussed the support measures needed to overcome the crisis, and the program of economic recovery of the country, which we are preparing," the head of state said.

Given that entrepreneurs are having a harder time in the conditions of the pandemic and economic crisis, Maia Sandu voiced confidence that the vaccination of employees will allow companies to resume their activities in the normal regime.

"The priorities of my presidential term - justice reform and corruption elimination are key to revitalize the private sector. The support of the business environment for these reforms will allow it to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union and to ensure the presence of our country in other markets ", Maia Sandu said.
