Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/- Inspectors of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) conducted checks in the commercial units to ensure that the sanitary-veterinary and hygiene requirements are observed before the Easter Holidays, when the purchasing power is much higher than usual.
“The prevention of diseases among the population due to non-compliant products is the responsibility of everyone, or it is important to meet all hygiene conditions in which the products are stored and transported. It is also important to make sure that all necessary conditions for the sale of meat and dairy products, fish, eggs, other foods of animal and non-animal origin are met", said Vladislav Cotici, ANSA General Manager.
In order not to endanger health, ANSA recommends consumers to buy food only from registered or authorized sanitary-veterinary spaces or units, where the general hygiene conditions are observed.
To report irregularities in food safety, you can call the telephone number of the hotline ANSA - 0 800 800 33 or the specialized anti-corruption line ANSA 022-290-800. Calls are free from any telephone network.
