Winners of contest Best business plan in agri-food awarded

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/- Five winners of contest The best business plan in the agri-food sector were awarded yesterday at an inauguration ceremony of the training section at the Center of Excellence in Viticulture and Winemaking in Stăuceni.

The winners were awarded grants worth 24 thousand euros. It is a prize of ten thousand euros, two prizes of five thousand euros and another two - two thousand euros each.

"The competition was preceded by a training program aimed at developing business plans, which was attended by 51 students from technical vocational education institutions and young farmers eager to introduce and promote sustainable innovation in the agri-food sector. Following the training, they developed their own business ideas, five of them being selected for subsidy ", the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment said.

The contest was conducted under the EU project DevRam, Part I, implemented by the Austrian Development Cooperation, in partnership with PRO DIDACTICA Center and Donau Soja International Association (Austria).
